National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli (NIT Trichy), established in 1964, is a premier Tier-1 public institute in Tamil Nadu. It ranks 9th in NIRF 2025 (Engineering). It offers B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, and Ph.D. programs, with admission via JEE Main, GATE, and CAT. Placements are excellent, with the highest package at Rs.64 LPA in 2025.
