GATE COAP Registration 2026 Begins at coap2026.iitr.ac.in; Check who is eligible

 IIT Roorkee has opened GATE COAP Registration 2026 at coap2026.iitr.ac.in. Candidates with valid GATE scores from 2026, 2025, or 2024 can apply for M.Tech/PSU jobs. You need basic details; no documents are required for registration. Complete login via email/SMS. Round 1 allotment results will be out on May 11, 2026.

GATE COAP Registration 2026 Begins: IIT Roorkee has started the GATE COAP registration 2026 process on the official website- coap2026.iitr.ac.in . Candidates who have a valid GATE score of 2026, 2025, or 2024 and wish to apply for the M.Tech admission or PSU job through the participating institutes can apply for the GATE COAP 2026 registration. As per the official notice, the candidates should have their name, GATE registration number, valid GATE score, date of birth, mobile number, and email address. Apart from that, the candidates do not need to submit or attach any other documents for GATE COAP registration. Note that the registration will be completed successfully only after they complete the login procedure using the details sent via email and SMS.

Once the GATE COAP registration is done successfully, the candidates will be able to see the offers from these institutes. It will be linked to the COAP registration number. Post that, the authority will release the round 1 allotment result on May 11, 2026. Based on the allotment, the candidates should decide whether they want to accept the choice, retain or reject it.

Note that the candidates who have more than one valid GATE scorecard, then they should submit the one in which they have a better score or a higher rank. Also, the candidates are advised to apply separately to each institute for admission to M.Tech or to PSUs for the job opportunities.

Also, keep in mind that the candidates who have graduated from IITs with a B.Tech degree and a CGPA of 8.0 or higher (on a 10-point scale) can apply directly to the respective M.Tech admission, and they do not need to register at COAP.
